PMU typically lasts between 2 to 3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and aftercare. We recommend an annual touch-up session to maintain color vibrancy and crisp shape definition.
Client comfort is Naz’s top priority. A medical-grade secondary topical numbing cream (lidocaine) is applied before and continuously throughout the procedure. Most clients rate the sensation a 1 to 2 out of 10, with many even falling asleep during treatment!
Healing takes approximately 7 to 10 days for superficial skin closure, and 4 to 6 weeks for internal pigment settling. During days 3-5, minor flaking occurs. Color will appear 30% lighter and softer after fully healed.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, ibuprofen, aspirin, or blood thinners 24 hours prior. Discontinue Retin-A, AHA/BHA chemical peels, and brow waxing or tinting 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
